Kitara will open its campaign on September 15 against SC Villa at the Wankulukuku II stadium.

Plotting to cause an upset in the top-flight league, Kitara boss Deo Kasozi Akiiki noted that they have injected resources to challenge the top teams in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

"We have put in a lot of effort and resources in the team, and we hope the results will be better than they were during our last appearance in the 2020/21 season," Kasozi, the club president, told Kitara media.

"Our fans and partners are excited about the team; therefore, we believe this squad is well-motivated and ready for the Uganda Premier League.”
