Kitara have witnessed a sharp climb in the past two years, having also won the FUFA Big League (top-tier) last season.
Despite being rookies in the Uganda Premier League, Kitara FC has meant business with their on and off-the-pitch activities.
Off the pitch, the club has led by example in terms of engaging with the community, attracting crowds and accountability to their loyalty.

On it, Kitara has equally faired well, as they currently sit second on the log with 32 points in 17 matches. They are five points adrift of leaders BUL FC.
However, while their position suggests they are serious title challengers, Club President Deo Kasozi has downplayed it, insisting their target is to finish in the top five places.

KCCA rules out six players for their Kampala derby against Express
