"Mubiru approached me for work (at KCCA FC), but the board turned me down," Mbabazi revealed in an interview with Pulse Sports.

Mbabazi stressed that the reasons for getting declined by the club spurned from his past off-the-pitch lifestyle.

"It's painful that every time something happens, people who are quick to judge always dig for my past," the Arua Hill tactician added.

"Even people who know less about you always run for your past mistakes as a human being, but they should all know people change."

Mbabazi has since continued as head coach for Arua Hill in a season where financial struggles and woeful results in the Uganda Premier League have hit them.

They currently sit bottom of the log with just one point from the opening seven games of the season.
