Since making a return to Uganda from Sweden, Kawooya has been a revelation with the Red Eagles, stamping himself as one of the finest in his position in the league, currently.

It's believed Kawooya at Express was on an agreement rather than a permanent contract, paving way for negotiations with worthy suitors.

Despite playing in the league for just a couple of months, Kawooya has received two national team call-ups, including the first in the World Cup qualifiers.

He is currently with the Uganda Cranes squad gearing to take on Kuwait in an international friendly slated for next week.

Kawooya has played eight times for Express in the first round of the UPL campaign.

Besides Express, he has previously played for Karskrona FF, Somaliska, Vaxjo United and FK Almeboda in Sweden.
