"Everyone out there thinks this game will be tough for us to win, but Kitara will be under pressure, yet we won't have any. We've come to play our usual game."

Soltilo Bright Stars FC are raving to add more recent misery to Kitara FC when the two meet in the Uganda Premier League at the Masindi Playgrounds on Friday.

Bright Stars have managed decent results, winning twice in the last three matches, and will look to cause an upset against the Hoima-based side on enemy territory.

On the other hand, it has been a run of indifferent results for Kitara, who have lost two, drawn once and won twice in the last five games.

"We have prepared very well to see that we win the game against Kitara," Bright Stars assistant coach Tom Ssali told the club media.

"Everyone out there thinks this game will be tough for us to win, but Kitara will be under pressure, yet we won't have any. We've come to play our usual game."

"They'll be nervous because they are playing at home where the fans will demand them to win.

"We respect them. They're a good team, but we're going to handle them professionally so that we win the game."

"We've had good results recently, and our players' mental strength is at per. These players, including the younger ones, are confident. We don't mind the crowd, and we're ready to win the game."

Pending results elsewhere, Bright Stars can ascend as far as the seventh place from tenth with victory on enemy territory.

Meanwhile, a win will take Kitara second with 29 points heading into the second round.

Bright Stars won all the two previous meetings between the two, beating them 5-0 in Kavumba and 3-1 away in the 2020/21 season.
