Uganda Crested Cranes acting head coach Ayub Khalifa is contented with his players' reaction ahead of their Olympic 2024 qualifier against Rwanda.

The team arrived in Kigali on Sunday and has conducted two sessions so far, which have impressed Khalifa.
“The mood was positive after the second training, and the [girls] have been responding very well,” Khalifa said in an interview after their training at the Kigali Pele Stadium in Nyamirambo.
“The training was a bit intense because we wanted to work on their speed and they were very positive reacting well. We’ll have the final one tomorrow (Tuesday) basically to organize the tactical [set up],” he added.
The team welcomed midfielder Joan Nabirye who connected from Belarus where she plays for FK Minsk.
