He explained that Desabre found a mature team that had just been at the 2017 AFCON finals and a good show in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
"I didn't do it. The players are the ones who did," he said. "Every coach hopes that what he is telling the players is that they do the right thing because the players did what we asked.
