Kikomeko believes that Tezikya’s reunion with his former striking partner Joel Madondo will spark the two to return to their best at BUL.

Lawrence promised so much during his days at Jinja SSS as the school shone in the famous Copa Coca-Cola schools tournament and the FUFA Junior League.

His star was starting to rise when he was promoted to the senior team at Busoga United and instantly became the fans' favourite.

Soon, Vipers came calling in February 2021, and he made that switch to St. Mary’s Kitende with hopes of continental football and a chance to fly out for big money.

However, his stay at Kitende was hampered by injuries and stiff competition that forced the Venoms to send him on loan to Maroons.

He has now returned to Jinja to join BUL FC on a three-year deal reuniting with his former coach Abbey Kikomeko.

The spark

The coach believes that the 22-year-old has potential and has put so much trust in him to get back to his best.

“I expect so much from him and I believe he will deliver,” Kikomeko said as he officially unveiled him

“I expect to see good goals and fantastic performances from their partnership. They have been together, they have worked together before, and they know each other very well,” The coach says.

It remains to be seen whether the two will use this chance to reignite their careers and become a force to reckon with.
