Former Vipers SC forward Cesar Lobi Manzoki has announced his departure from Dalian Pro in China amidst reports of a move to the United Arab Emirates.

Manzoki spent last season at Dalian Pro, scoring eight times and one assist in 25 Chinese Super League appearances.

"Sometimes words are not so strong to express what I feel," Manzoki said in a farewell statement released in French on his X handle on Tuesday.

"Today I come to all of you administrators, staff, technical and medical, teammates and especially the fans of Dalian Pro), thank you for the time spent together and for the love shown to me."

His goal-tally was the same as that of Brazilian and former Chelsea forward Oscar Emboaba, who plays for Shanghai Port.

Overall, in the Chinese topflight since 2022, Manzoki netted ten times in 35 games in one and a half seasons.

Reports last week indicated that Manzoki was moments away from agreeing on a deal to join Hatta Club in the UAE.

The club is in desperate need of firepower upfront as they have struggled all season, scoring just nine times in 12 UAE League games.

They currently sit 13th on the 14-team table, having collected just five points at this stage of the campaign.
