AFC Leopards are preparing for a crucial match against Tusker FC, set to be played on Sunday, as they aim to extend their unbeaten run.

AFC Leopards are set to clash with Tusker FC in a highly anticipated FKF Premier League match at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, on Sunday afternoon. 

The encounter promises to be a thrilling spectacle as both teams have maintained an impressive unbeaten streak over their last 10 matches, demonstrating their defensive solidity by conceding few goals.

In their first-leg meeting at the same venue, the clash ended in a deadlock, with Leopards ruing multiple missed opportunities. 

In the lead-up to this eagerly awaited match, Clifton Miheso, the vice-captain of AFC Leopards, shared his thoughts and expectations. 

"Playing for AFC Leopards means there are never easy games, whether against smaller teams or the top contenders. Facing Tusker, the highest-scoring team, is a challenge we're excited to take on. We've proven our capabilities this year, and this game will test our resilience against one of the league's best," said Miheso.

The former Gor Mahia man shed light on the team's preparations, emphasizing the intensity and focus of their training sessions. 

"Training this week has been intense and focused. We’re preparing very well for the upcoming match, the mood in the camp is positive and determined. There’s a sense of unity and belief in our abilities to perform well against tough opposition like Tusker," he noted.

Tusker FC, currently second in the FKFPL standings with 40 points, have been formidable throughout the season, securing 12 wins, 4 draws, and 7 losses. 

The Brewers have showcased their goal-scoring prowess with 31 goals while maintaining a strong defensive record by conceding only 15.

On the other hand, Leopards, sitting seventh with 34 points, have displayed commendable form this season, with eight wins, 10 draws, and 5 losses. 

Ingwe have managed to find the back of the net 21 times matching their defensive record with 15 goals conceded.
