Kaizer Chiefs In For Benni McCarthy-Coached Harambee Stars Striker
Kaizer Chiefs are firming up their interest in Harambee Stars striker who Benni McCarthy likes.
Despite languishing in 13th position in the 18-team league, Talanta's Emmanuel Osoro has been one of the shining lights in the team. Osoro has singlehandedly carried Talanta this season even though the team is still fighting to avoid being relegated to the second tier.
Osoro boasts of 16 goals, to rank joint top with Kakamega Homeboyz's Moses Shumah. Uniquely, the duo have also scored one penalty apiece meaning most of their goals have been from open play.

Benni McCarthy: Fresh Update on Harambee Stars Coach’s Future Amid Links to South African Giants
Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has been linked to jobs back home in South Africa in recent days and there is a new update regarding his future in Kenya.
Osoro will hope to extend his rich form in front of goal as Talanta settle scores with title-chasing Police, AFC Leopards and Murang'a SEAL.
Shumah, one of the most underrated strikers in the league, continues to carry out his duties with professionalism. For Shumah to claim the award and guide Homeboyz past their current fifth position, he must find the back of the net against Kariobangi Sharks, tough-to-beat Tusker and relegation-fighting Bidco United.
Tusker's Ryan Ogam would have easily won the award had it not been for a nagging injury that has kept the mercurial striker sidelined for crucial parts of the season.

From Oliech to Wanyama: 5 Kenyan Footballers Who Made Their Mark on History
Here are the five Kenyan footballers who made their mark on history.
Despite missing many matches, the former Rainbow FC talisman ranks third with 15 goals and has won the Tusker Player of the month twice already in his first season in the top-flight.
Ogam will hope to pip his challengers to the award if he was to score against Sofapaka, Kariobangi Sharks and Kakamega Homeboyz. Ogam's absence is part of the reason the brewers have struggled to break down defensive-minded teams after blowing hot and cold lately.
Two other players who could come into the picture are Bandari's Nyamawi Beja and Shabana's Byram Migiro. The pair have 12 goals each, although KCB's Francis Kahiro (10 goals) is not far from them.
Title-chasing Police and Gor Mahia have their top scorers with nine goals each. Harambee Stars prodigy Mohammed Bajaber has been a revelation for the law enforcers since joining the side in the mid season transfer window from Nairobi City Stars.
Gor Mahia's Austin Odhiambo, last season's most valuable player in the league has also nine goals although his campaign, just like Ogam's, has been affected by injuries.
Bajaber and Odhiambo need another nine goals or more to become top scorers, which looks highly unlikely.
The golden boot will likely be won by Osoro, Shumah or Ogam but that will only be possible in te last game of the season.
The golden boot race will go down to the wire and it remains to be seen who will have the last laugh.
