It wasn't under ideal circumstances when Abdallah Mubiru left KCCA FC in 2015. He had fallen out with his employers and the fans because of poor results and because all parties didn't know how best to conduct themselves.
"Your work is cut out; the expectations are extremely high because what has happened this season is unprecedented," Lukwago told Mubiru after his unveiling.
"We shall not celebrate leaving the relegation zone, but what we'll celebrate is if you take KCCA from relegation to lifting the trophy this season."
"I want every stakeholder to believe that we can win all the remaining matches, and it is possible; that should be our determination today," Lukwago added.

"The mission should be to cleanse what has happened. Ordinarily, we would have 21 points, but we have four."
Lukwago then backed Mubiru to deliver, given his history with the club, both as a former player and coach.

"He knows exactly what KCCA is all about, what the stakeholders want and also what the challenges are at this material time," he said.
"You come at a time when we're experiencing setbacks, but these are moments that can be experienced in life."

It's alleged that the two attacked the car which had Sekayuba and other match officials about two weeks back and beat him up, leaving him for dead.
