Harambee Stars striker Jonah Ayunga helped St.Mirren overcome Queen of the South 1-0 to keep their chances of lifting the 2023/2024 Scottish Cup alive on Saturday afternoon.
Ayunga, who now looks like he is at 100 percent since returning from a nasty ACL injury in December, led the line well and even though he did not score, contributed effectively by allowing his teammates into the game which laid a platform for them to find the winner.
The 26-year-old striker has scored two goals in 11 league appearances this season and will be fancying his chances of returning to the national team for the first time since 2018 this March.
