With Hacken's U19 team, Dembe impressed as he scored ten goals in just eight matches before earning a promotion to the senior team, which has eventually netted his signature.
The striker was loaned out ahead of the 2023 autumn season from KCCA and has since been part of the A team and BK Häcken's academy. In the P19 Allsvenskan, he was noted for ten goals in 8 games.
"I have done well, and that is why I am getting a new contract. It is a big difference from Uganda. The environment is good, and BK Häcken has nice facilities and is a good club."

Dembe has credentials from Uganda's U20 national team and made his A-team debut in the Europa League match against Qarabaq. His contract with BK Häcken extends to 2027.
