However, in the lead-up to yesterday's game, the former Busoga United pledged to his coach, vowing to get his name on the score sheet, which eventually came to pass.

"He told me before (the game) 'I'm going to score', and that's what he did, and I'm happy with that," Obua revealed to the media in an interview.

The tactician further showered the Tibita in praise for his strong will, hard work and character.

"The boy is so confident, he tells me he's the best midfielder in the country, and I told him just to keep working."

"I told him he would get his chance and took it well, but it's because he's been preparing so well all week."

"And that's what I love from such players that show you character and are not afraid, won't cry that the coach is not playing me."

The goal marked his first in seven UPL matches for the Tax Collectors since joining from Busoga in the recent transfer window.

Following the victory, URA ascended to sixth on the log with 13 points in nine games played this season.
