Ugandan players, Cranes teammates send hearty messages to Travis Mutyaba upon joining Zamalek

The deal drew exhilaration and elation from the more extensive section of the Ugandan football faithful, many of whom are Mutyaba's teammates at the national team or formerly at respective clubs.

Ugandan attacking sensation Travis Mutyaba got started with business at his new home, Zamalek FC, moments after his unveiling.

The youngster signed a long-term four-and-a-half-year contract with the five-time CAF Champions League winners.

Former KCCA FC winger Rogers Mato, who is also Mutyaba's Uganda Cranes teammate, posted: "star in the making."

Vipers SC captain and Cranes winger Milton Karisa wished: "All the best in your new journey."

Soltilo Bright Stars FC talisman and Uganda Premier League top-scorer Nelson Senkatuka was just as excited, posting: "All the best, Super Mario. Showtime!"

Uganda Cranes and Richards Bay (South Africa) goalkeeper Salim Jamal Magoolaa said: "All the best small one."

Former KCCA FC and Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba wished: "All the best, kid bro."

Mutyaba is one of the most promising talents in East Africa, and all eyes will be glued on his progress with the White Castle.
