Recent times haven't given Ugandans a clear taste of their goodies, with Nalukenge having to endure long spells on the sidelines to injury.

The Fauzia Najjemba and Juliet Nalukenge combo that promised a future blitz for Ugandan women's football could get reminisced in the forthcoming All-Africa Games slated for Ghana in March.

The deadly duo was so good that they 'single-handedly' helped Uganda win the 2019 U17 COSAFA Championship.

Meanwhile, as tactician Sheryl Botes named Uganda U20 Women’s National Team (Queen Cranes) a provisional squad of 48 players to start preparations for the 2023 All Africa Games, they were both enlisted.

It should be noted that the Women's Tournament will consider the age as applied during the qualifiers of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022.

The Upper age limit will allow players born on or after 1st January 2002 while the lower age limit allows players born on or before 31st December 2006.

Uganda was placed in the same group with Ethiopia, Tanzania and hosts Ghana.
