Barcelona completed a comeback to beat Frankfurt in their first Champions League away game of the season.

Super Falcons ace Asisat Oshoala was left on the bench for a second consecutive game as Barcelona came from behind to beat Fraunbundesliga side Frankfurt 3-1.

The Blaugrana took their first European trip this season to Germany after the dominant 5-0 thumping of Benfica last week.

Frankfurt hosted the European champions at Stadion am Brentanobad as they looked to halt their run of 14 straight wins on the trot.

The Germans had a brilliant first-half, as they went into the break with the lead. Barcelona, however, turned it around in the second-half.

Salma Parraluelo equalised for Barcelona upon returning from the break, getting on the end of a delivery from Ona Battle. 

Mariona Caldentey made it two in the 59th minute, and Salma made it three three minutes later. 

Coach Jonatan Giraldez exhausted his five substitutes but left Oshoala on the bench even after the Nigerian scored a stunner in the group opener against Benfica. Barcelona won 3-1 and stayed comfortably on top of the group. 

This match came after Oshoala was an unused substitute when Barcelona recorded a comfortable El Clasico win against Real Madrid.
