Obua insists his team will behave as they do with the other games when they visit the Venoms in the Uganda Premier League at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, on Thursday.

Ahead of his second game as URA FC head coach, David Obua has cut a relaxed gesture, underlining his readiness to mount a fight despite facing the champions Vipers SC.

"To me, every game is important; I don't differentiate these games; there are no small teams in the league, and we shall play it like any other game," the Uganda Cranes legend told the club media.

The former Maroons FC coach has asserted the Tax Collectors are purposely prepared and ready to wrestle the Venoms.

"We have tried to prepare well. The weather has given us a hard time, but we have improvised and done what we need for the game."

"I haven't had a lot of time with my players; some have been to the national teams, others in the Drum tournament, so we were doing everything with some of them away."

"However, that's not an excuse; we have so many other players, tried to incorporate in the new guys and see how we can perform," he noted.

URA has had an indifferent start to the campaign, which has had them win just twice, lose once, and draw four times, leaving them seventh with ten points.

They take on a side that has won four games, lost once and drawn twice and sit fourth with 14 points out of a possible 21.

Their previous meeting at Kitende last season ended in a one-all stalemate, with Vipers' Karim Ndugwa cancelling out Patrick Paul Mbowa's opener.

Mbowa has since crossed to the opposite direction and has swiftly established himself as a mainstay in the team.
