The Uganda Cranes legend has suffered two successive defeats on the road with URA, but he insists his team follow a certain pattern, and the results will eventually come along.

Despite being winless away from home since taking over as URA FC head coach, David Obua has refused to be pressured into evading the process so that he can conjure victories.

On Thursday, URA will make a short trip to Jinja to take on Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru, in the Uganda Premier League.

"Again, I'm not trying to conjure results, I'm not going to heaven or to 'Jajja Muwanga' (traditional spirits) for results, I'm not going to do that," Obua said in his pre-match interview.

"I'm only trying to follow my process; the players are learning a new style and implementing slowly because it's very difficult," he added.

The former Kaizer Chiefs star further reiterated the kind of work he is trying to do with the Tax Collectors.

"We're not working so much on the body but the mind and how the mind can act, not react within predetermined actions, so I'm glad that they're learning.

"I have a good bunch of players, very disciplined, hardworking, genuine and I'm extremely grateful to have such a group."

While URA won their previous match at home in a comfortable fashion, 4-1 over Arua Hill, they will be keen on replicating the performance against Busoga on Thursday.

“I have had time to certain things right ahead of the clash at Busoga, and we are hopeful," Obua said

It will be the 14th meeting between both sides, with URA managing five wins and four stalemates, while Busoga has four victories.

URA currently sit seventh on 16 points from 11 games, while the hosts occupy 12th with 11 points from as many games.
